Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge
Type: Resort, Hospitality, Masterplanning Year: 2025
A modern expansion of a beloved 1970s fishing lodge on Oregon’s wild and scenic Rogue River. A master plan for the westward expansion of the lodge’s grounds established a network of nature trails and semi-private gardens to site Tu Tu’ Tun’s twelve new glass cabins. Each cabin is placed on the sloping terrain to capture river, creek, or mountain views without overlooking its neighbors. Floor-to-ceiling glass opens guests to the panorama of the river from within, while mirrored exteriors reflect the surrounding forest, letting the cabins recede into the landscape. The work extended to the lodge’s existing amenities, with targeted updates to the pool areas, indoor dining room, spa treatment facilities, and lobby arrival. Following its renovation, Tu Tu’ Tun was named one of Esquire’s Best New Hotels in the World 2025 and received a MICHELIN Key.
